Nammos did not start as a brand. It started in 2003 as a taverna on Psarrou Beach in Mykonos, a beach that barely existed before it arrived. Over two decades, that taverna became the defining address of Mediterranean summer culture: the beach club that celebrities, shipowners, and international jet-setters return to every year not because they have to, but because nowhere else delivers the specific combination of food, energy, and aesthetic that Nammos produces. It is one of the most referenced luxury beach club names in the world, and it has never been in Egypt.

Until now. On July 16, 2026, Modon Holding, the Abu Dhabi-based master developer behind the USD 35 billion Ras El Hekma masterplan, announced Nammos Ras El Hekma. The project sits within the Wadi Yemm precinct, the first of 17 planned precincts to move into active delivery inside Ras El Hekma City. It will be the first fully integrated Nammos destination in Egypt: residences, resort hotel, restaurant and beach club, and retail village: all under one name, on one site, in one of the most capitalised coastal zones in Egyptian history.

This guide covers what Nammos Ras El Hekma is, what the Nammos brand actually means, how the project is structured, and why its arrival in Wadi Yemm matters for the Ras El Hekma investment case.

WHAT NAMMOS IS: THE BRAND CREDENTIALS

Nammos was founded in 2003 on Psarrou Beach, Mykonos, as a beachside restaurant and eventually grew into one of the world’s most recognised luxury beach destinations. The brand combines Mediterranean and pan-Asian cuisine, private cabanas, high-energy music programming, and an aesthetic built on natural materials, white-washed surfaces, and direct sea connection. What it created at Psarrou, transforming an obscure beach into the most-discussed summer address in the Mediterranean, which is the foundational proof of concept for every subsequent Nammos expansion.

The brand now operates Nammos Mykonos (restaurant, beach club, village, and hotel), Nammos Dubai, Nammos Limassol, and Nammos Cannes. Nammos London is in preparation. Hotel projects are confirmed in the Maldives, Saudi Arabia’s AMAALA destination (alongside Rosewood, Ritz-Carlton, and Six Senses), and Montenegro (targeted 2029). The hospitality expansion is backed by Admiral Lifestyle Holding, which carries sovereign capital.

Nammos Hotel Mykonos, the brand’s first standalone hotel property, consists of 26 rooms, suites, and private villas, each with direct Psarrou Beach access and 24-hour butler service. It represents what Nammos looks like when it moves from a beach club into a full residential hospitality concept, which is exactly what Nammos Ras El Hekma is designed to be at full scale.

NAMMOS RAS EL HEKMA: THE PROJECT

Nammos Ras El Hekma is a fully integrated destination within the Wadi Yemm precinct of Ras El Hekma City, developed in partnership between Modon Holding and Nammos Hotels & Resorts. It combines four distinct components: branded residences, a resort hotel, a lifestyle retail village, and the signature restaurant and beach club.

Nammos Residences

Nammos Residences will comprise 72 apartments across one to four-bedroom configurations, plus one penthouse. The architectural vision draws on Mediterranean and Cycladic design traditions: arched forms, sculpted massing, limewashed surfaces, and natural materials positioned to maximise the connection between interior and exterior environments. This is the architectural language of Nammos Mykonos applied to a residential product: coherent, restrained, and unmistakably positioned.

As a branded residence product, Nammos Residences owners will have access to the resort hotel services, beach club facilities, dining, wellness, and retail within the integrated destination. The product sits in the same tier as Locanda Village within Soul North Coast and the Montage branded villas in the same Wadi Yemm precinct, a category where the hotel brand’s operational excellence is part of the ownership package.

Nammos Resort

The Nammos Resort will offer 79 hotel keys across five categories: junior suites, one-bedroom suites, two-bedroom suites, presidential suites, and celebration suites. The suite-heavy configuration reflects the Nammos brand positioning: this is not a volume hotel product. 79 keys is a deliberately intimate count, consistent with the boutique hotel model that Nammos has built in Mykonos and is replicating globally.

Nammos Village

Nammos Village is the retail and lifestyle component, described as a concept rooted in the rediscovery of a Mediterranean village. At Nammos Mykonos, the Village functions as an integrated luxury shopping, wellness, and cultural space, operating independently of the beach club and drawing visitors specifically for its boutiques and art offering. The Wadi Yemm version brings that concept to the Ras El Hekma masterplan, creating a commercial anchor within the precinct that is both resident-serving and destination-attractive.

Nammos Restaurant and Beach Club

The beach club is the core of the Nammos global identity and the component that the brand’s reputation was built on. At Nammos Ras El Hekma, the Restaurant and Beach Club is described as inspired by natural coastal cave formations, an architectural interpretation that creates a distinctive setting unlike the standard North Coast beach club format. The offering combines high-energy dining, private cabanas, sunbeds, swimming pools, and direct beach access, delivering the specific atmosphere of Nammos Mykonos in a Ras El Hekma context.

A Nammos restaurant pop-up is planned for launch in 2026, ahead of the full Nammos Ras El Hekma opening, giving buyers and guests early access to the brand’s food and beverage experience before the permanent destination opens.

WHERE IS NAMMOS RAS EL HEKMA?

Nammos Ras El Hekma is located within the Wadi Yemm precinct of Ras El Hekma City, on Egypt’s North Coast. Wadi Yemm is the first of 17 planned precincts to move into active delivery within the 170.8 million square metre Ras El Hekma masterplan. Modon Holding is the Abu Dhabi-based master developer responsible for the overall city masterplan and for the Wadi Yemm precinct delivery.

Nammos Ras El Hekma sits in the same precinct as Montage Ras El Hekma, the 96 branded-villa and 200-room hotel development that was the first international hospitality brand confirmed in Wadi Yemm. The precinct is accessible from the main coastal road and from the new international airport under construction within Ras El Hekma City, targeted for opening in Q4 2026.

WHY NAMMOS RAS EL HEKMA MATTERS FOR THE ZONE

The arrival of Nammos in Ras El Hekma is significant for a specific reason that goes beyond the project itself. Nammos is not a developer brand. It is a hospitality and lifestyle brand with two decades of reputation built on a single beach in Mykonos. The names of its international neighbours at AMAALA (Rosewood, Ritz-Carlton, Six Senses) confirm the tier of endorsement that Nammos carries globally.

When a brand of that standing chooses Wadi Yemm in Ras El Hekma for its first Egyptian expression, it validates the zone in the language that international buyers understand. It joins Nobu at SODIC Ogami and Montage at Wadi Yemm as the third globally recognised hospitality name confirmed in the Ras El Hekma zone within the same 24-month window. The pattern is the same as what Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah looked like before it became the most written-about coastal address of its generation: international brands confirming the zone in sequence before infrastructure delivery completes.

For buyers comparing Ras El Hekma projects, Nammos Ras El Hekma adds a beach club, restaurant destination, hotel, and retail village to the Wadi Yemm precinct that will draw visitors from across the zone and from the new international airport. The hospitality activation of a precinct is the event that transforms it from a residential zone into a year-round destination, and Nammos Ras El Hekma, alongside Montage, is the hospitality anchor that does that for Wadi Yemm.
