Caesar SODIC and June are the same developer’s two answers to the same coastline, built eight kilometres apart in Ras El Hekma, Egypt. Caesar is quiet, low-density and Mediterranean. June is Miami-inspired, Art Deco and already handing over homes. Neither is better. They are built for different weeks.
The useful split is not taste. It is density and delivery: Caesar gives you roughly 2.7 times more land per home, and June gives you a community that is already open and trading.

Caesar SODIC vs June at a Glance
| Caesar | June | |
| Launched | 2015, SODIC’s first coastal project | Land deal September 2021, first sales October 2021 |
| Where | Ras El Hekma, North Coast | Ras El Hekma, 8 km east of Caesar, 5 minutes by car |
| Land | 440,000 sqm original phase, about 105 feddans, plus a 180-unit extension (see note) | About 1,200,000 sqm, about 280 feddans |
| Homes | 352 units in the original phase; over 350 delivered by 2023 | About 2,600 units, about 430,000 sqm sellable |
| Unit sizes | 141 to 546 sqm | 101 to 237 sqm |
| Starting price | From EGP 27,530,000 | From EGP 25,204,000 |
| Architecture | Low-rise, low-density, Mediterranean | Miami-inspired, Art Deco |
| Stage | Delivering since 2018; no current handover date published | First homes handed over July 2025, ahead of schedule |
Figures from sodic.com captured 29 October 2026, SODIC investor presentations of 4Q 2019 and November 2021, and SODIC’s 2023 extension press release. SODIC writes the June figure as “c. 280 acres” alongside “c. 1,200,000 sqm”; the arithmetic proves feddans, so we use feddans. On the Caesar extension, SODIC’s own release says 180 feddans in its headline and 180 acres in its body, with no square-metre figure to settle it, so we do not state a unit.
Which Is Quieter, Caesar SODIC or June?
Caesar, and the gap is measurable rather than atmospheric. This is the single most useful number in the comparison, because it settles the question an adjective cannot.
| Caesar, original phase | June | |
| Land | 440,000 sqm | About 1,200,000 sqm |
| Homes | 352 | About 2,600 |
| Land per home | About 1,250 sqm | About 460 sqm |
| Heights | Low-rise, SODIC’s own word for the extension | Ground plus three floors, reported |
| Built-up ratio | Not published | About 20 per cent of total area, reported |
Land per home is our calculation from SODIC’s own published land areas and unit counts. Heights and built-up ratio for June are from Invest-Gate, not from SODIC.
Caesar carries roughly 2.7 times the land per home. That is what “intimate” means here, and it is why the two projects feel different before a single design choice is made.
One honest caveat. SODIC’s copy crosses its own line both ways: the Caesar page calls The Pier “a lively promenade,” and the June page offers “a sense of calm.” The split is real in intent, not absolute.

Who Is Behind Caesar SODIC and June?
SODIC is majority-owned by Abu Dhabi. A consortium of Aldar Properties and ADQ acquired 85.52 per cent for EGP 6.1 billion, completing in December 2021. SODIC remains listed on the Egyptian Exchange as OCDI.
The scale behind both: 2,083 units delivered across SODIC in 2025 and 557 in the first half of 2026, 302 of them on the North Coast, against a backlog of EGP 116 billion. First-half gross contracted sales were EGP 23.5 billion, up 201 per cent, with net income down 36 per cent.
On delivery, the two projects have opposite records, and we are not going to smooth that over. June was promised for the third quarter of 2025 and handed over in July 2025, which SODIC announced as ahead of schedule. Caesar’s original phase was scheduled for 2018 to 2019; by the end of 2019 SODIC’s own investor deck showed 242 of 352 units delivered and the project 88 per cent complete, with “over 350 homes” delivered by 2023. That is slippage, evidenced from SODIC’s own documents.
SODIC states it has delivered ahead of schedule 91 per cent of the time. That is its own unaudited figure, covering the whole portfolio rather than Caesar SODIC specifically, and we report it as a claim rather than a fact.

Final Word
Caesar SODIC and June are not competing for the same buyer, whatever their eight-kilometre proximity suggests. Caesar is the quieter, larger, more expensive proposition whose current delivery date SODIC has not published. June is denser, smaller-unit, cheaper to enter and already open, with a beach club, a Michelin-recognised restaurant and a Marriott hotel signed for 2029. Choose on density and timing, not on adjectives. Contact D5 Realty for the current availability in both, with the price list and the handover terms in writing before you decide.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between Caesar SODIC and June?
Density and stage. Caesar is a low-rise, low-density Mediterranean community with about 1,250 sqm of land per home and units to 546 sqm. June is a Miami-inspired Art Deco beach town with about 460 sqm per home, smaller units, and homes already handed over since July 2025.
- Where are Caesar SODIC and June located?
Both are SODIC developments in Ras El Hekma on Egypt’s North Coast. SODIC’s own investor materials place June eight kilometres east of Caesar, and both project pages give the drive between them as five minutes. SODIC publishes no kilometre marker for either, and portal figures conflict.
- How much does Caesar SODIC cost?
From EGP 27,530,000, with units from 141 to 546 square metres, per sodic.com captured on 29 October 2026. SODIC describes payment as “flexible long-term payment plans” without publishing figures. Portal prices differ sharply from the developer’s own, so ask for a dated price list.
- How much does June by SODIC cost?
From EGP 25,204,000, with units from 101 to 237 square metres, per sodic.com captured on 29 October 2026. The Aqua Lagoons phase starts at EGP 30,049,000 for 161 to 189 sqm. Water Chalets are offered at five per cent down over eight years, with handover scheduled for the third quarter of 2029.
- Has June been delivered?
Partly. SODIC handed over June’s first homes in July 2025 and announced it as ahead of schedule, having promised the third quarter. The Surf Club and Cavalariça opened at the same time. Water Chalets are scheduled for Q3 2029 and Aqua Lagoons for Q3 2030.
- When does Caesar SODIC hand over?
SODIC publishes no handover date for Caesar’s current phases, only a Q1 2026 construction update. Its original phase was scheduled for 2018 to 2019, and by the end of 2019 SODIC’s own deck showed 242 of 352 units delivered. Ask for a contractual date per phase before signing anything.
- Is there a hotel at Caesar SODIC or June?
At June, yes: a 180-key Tribute Portfolio hotel by Marriott International, announced in June 2024 and expected to open in 2029. At Caesar no hotel operates and SODIC has named no hotel brand partner. Neither project has a marina, and neither has announced one.
- Who designed Caesar SODIC and June?
SODIC names DLR Group as masterplanner of Caesar’s new extension phase. No designer is named for the original 2015 Caesar, and no masterplanner, landscape architect or interior designer is named anywhere for June. Neither project holds a design award on the public record.
- Who owns Caesar SODIC and June?
A consortium of Aldar Properties and ADQ of Abu Dhabi, which acquired 85.52 per cent of SODIC for EGP 6.1 billion, completing in December 2021. SODIC remains listed on the Egyptian Exchange under OCDI, and delivered 2,083 units across its portfolio in 2025 and 557 in the first half of 2026.
- Which is the better investment, Caesar SODIC or June?
They carry different risks. June offers delivered homes, operating amenities and a signed hotel, so less is left to prove. Caesar SODIC offers more land per home and larger units but publishes no current handover date. D5 Realty quotes no yields for either, because no sourced rental data supports one.
